Ela \u00e9 a dist\u00e2ncia entre o maior e o menor elementos do conjunto. Dever\u00edamos usar uma medida que considerasse todos os elementos do conjunto de dados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tomemos novamente as idades dos alunos da sala, e usemos a dist\u00e2ncia de cada um desses elementos at\u00e9 o elemento t\u00edpico (m\u00e9dia). O que significam 49,40 anos ao quadrado (ou quilos ao quadrado, ou dias ao quadrado?). O desvio padr\u00e3o &#8220;retorna&#8221; a medida para a unidade original.
